Democracy Needs Sustainability

To make sustainability concrete, we adopt the outlined in seventeen pillars by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which I organize in what I call the Sustainability VIBE: sustainability happens when Vibrant Institutions provide the Basic requirements for Environmental or Ecological protections. Those institutions work best when those affected by the institutional decisions control those institutions, which can only happen when basic needs are met.
